Ascot Suites, Morro Bay

From the minute we entered the door, Ascot Suites felt like a business that is cared for by its employees. The manager chatted to know us a bit and offered us a glass of wine. From the elevator to our room, everything was clean, stylish and had extra touches such as a gas fireplace in the room and Jacuzzi tub. Traveling with a larger group, Marisol at the front desk took great care of us all with a warm smile. They even rallied when one of us lost our eyeglasses and helped to return them. A complimentary glass of wine was offered in the afternoon along with fruit, cheese and crackers. The roof patio can see to the ocean although we enjoyed it under the stars around the gas fireplace on an outdoor sofa. It felt safe as they had thoughtfully considered security both from the parking lot and after hours. Again this felt like a place where the employees care and I would stay with them again. The only recommendation I could suggest is an optional mattress pad upon request for those who do not do well with firm mattresses, however I'm not sure how that could work logistically. We had a great experience and were very appreciative. Thanks again!!

Always enjoy my experience at Ascot Suites Morro Bay! Super comfortable rooms, great location (walking distance to the shops and restaurants), and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and wine and cheese hour. Marisol, the front desk representative, provides exceptional customer service! Marisol recommended a tour which we took and really enjoyed. She also provided helpful tour and activities for the neighboring towns which are going to visit and check out. Will return to this location in the future! Highly recommend

We come here a few times a year! It’s quiet, low-key, and in a great walkable location. We’ve met lovely people on the roof during happy hour every time we stay…and the view from the rooftop is stellar! Bina (manager) and Becky are always lovely, helpful and try to add nice touches when appropriate. They’re really friendly! Yes, the place is older and they’ve done their best to try and keep things updated. But it’s comfy and we always leave rested. Can’t wait for the next trip!

My husband and I had to come to Morro Bay for my mother in law who was very sick. We stayed here for a week and were treated very well. There was a problem with the noise level in an adjacent room so immediately Bina found us a perfect room. I highly recommend this hotel. Marisol and Bina made a difficult time for us very comfortable and welcome. Great Location! Be sure to check out the rooftop beautiful sunset!

The room was impeccably clean and very well maintained. The view of Morro Rock was absolutely beautiful and really captures what Morro Bay is known for. There are plenty of shops nearby and the Farmers Market is within easy reach, which made exploring very convenient. The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

A great hotel ! Mirabelle the girl at front desk is a smart attentive and really sweet person! Good workers are hard to find , she's a keeper. We have stayed at others for the past 12 years but now this is our go to spot. Clean , nice rooms , good parking , in the center of it all. Hotel is great all staff is friendly ... book it

This hotel was amazing!! We stayed a week for our wedding. When we got there they upgraded us to the one bedroom suite. The manager Bina took care of us. She checked on us number of times, telling us if we need anything to let her know. She is super sweet and caring person!! I wish more hotel managers cared and were involved with guests like she is!! The staff were very friendly. The room had an amazing views, is spacious and clean!! We really loved having a fireplace in our room!! My wife and I will be staying here again the next time we visit Morro Bay!!

5+++++++ stars!!!! Absolutely love this hotel!!! This was our first time staying here but it won't be our last! The hotel staff and manager named Bina and Marisol are fabulous I had a small mixup when checking in, I wanted a room with a jetted tub but wasn't put in one. I went to the front desk to ask if we could change rooms and without hesitation they moved me so I could get the jetted tub! I'm very pleased with how friendly the manager Bina is, and my dog Cyrus definitely loved her too; she fed him many treats The rooftop has a lounge Area which was beautiful, great view of the morro bay rock. And breakfast this morning was delicious! Eggs, muffins, sausage, bagels, waffles, coffee and juice were available (Photos are of the morning after! Didnt take any before pics)
